Sanskrit Mahanayak Megastar Aazaad pays heartfelt tribute to Irrfan Khan. Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan today breathed his last at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. He was suffering from cancer and was rushed to the hospital on April 28 evening and was kept in the ICU because of suspected colon infection. Condolences have been pouring in from across industries at the news of the sad demise of the actor.

In March 2018, Irrfan revealed he had been diagnosed with a rare kind of cancer neuroendocrine tumor. After undergoing extensive treatment in London, Irrfan returned to India on April 2 last year. He shot for Angrezi Medium. It was then when he penned a heartfelt letter for media thanking for support.
